Master Liang He Qing Championship 2011

The date for the 2011 Master Liang Championship has been confirmed as Sunday 10th July 2011 and will be held here in the East Midlands. 

The Championship will be preceded by seminars with Master Nigel Sutton.   The sessions will take place on Saturday 9th July 2011.

East Midlands student wins medal

Fifteen year old East Midlands student Billy Christie has just returned from the Zhong Ding Northern Competition after gaining a bronze medal in the pushing hands competition.

Gold Medal Success in Europe

Master Instructor Ken Mead has just returned from Europe after gaining two gold medals at the Cheng Man Ching Open Championship.  The Championship took place in Foix, France and Ken competed against practitioners from around the world to gain his medals in fixed step Tui Shou and moving step Tui Shou.  Click here to read more.

   

Zhong Ding Seminars and Championship Results 2010

The 2010 Master Liang He Qing Championship took place at Nottingham Trent University on Sunday 11 July 2010.  Competitors from around the country and Ireland competed in a range of events throughout the day.

    Zhong Ding Spring Camp 2010

March saw the second Zhong Ding Training Camp being hosted at the Sherbrooke Scout Camp in Nottinghamshire. The event brought together Zhong Ding members from across the UK to undertake a series of seminars senior instructors from the organisation.

A Year in Review (2009)

It's now been a year since the launch of the East Midlands Zhong Ding website and it's been a busy year for the East Midlands.  This has included hosting the Master Liang He Qing Championships and the first Zhong Ding Autumn Camp.

    Christmas Tai Chi at Fitness First

The annual Christmas Tai Chi night took place last week at Fitness First in Mansfield.

The class is run by Don Harradine and took on a festive feel with Don and some of the students wearing Christmas themed clothing.  Click here to read more.

October saw the first Zhong Ding Autumn Camp being hosted at the Walesby Outdoor Adventure Centre in Nottinghamshire.  The event brought together Zhong Ding members from the UK and Ireland to undertake a series of seminars with Nigel Sutton and other senior instructors.  Click here to see more

Seminar with Master Willie Lim

Master Willie Lim will be visiting the East Midlands this month (Tuesday 15 September 2009) and will delivering a session at 6.30pm at the Bentinck Miners Welfare in Kirkby in Ashfield.
