Don Harradine's Friday night class took on a festive feel this week.  Don and some of the students dressed with a festive theme and Christmas music was played throughout

The session included Yang Tai Chi Chi Gung, Form, a Tai Chi Christmas quiz and a Christmas themed Silat Cerita (story telling).

The class broke into teams to test their Tai Chi knowledge with Don as the quiz master.

The quiz covered a range of topics testing knowledge of Tai Chi history, terminology and principles.

All teams faired well with Jan's team winning overall.

Don presented the class with a Christmas themed Silat story for them to deliver. 

Silat Cerita competitors are given a story which they have to turn into a kind of freestyle form using all the techniques they learn in their martial arts study.

The exponents in the photo to the left are trying to creep past some sleeping polar bears.
